Where have Auburn coaches been?

It is that time of year again. With just two weeks until National Signing Day, Auburn coaches have been busy trying to get this years recruiting class finalized. If you follow recruiting as much as I do you will notice some big names on this list that Auburn is trying to get commitments from. The coaches have been on the road non stop visiting with these recruits. With traveling all week and bringing recruits in for Official/Unofficial visits on the weekends this is the time for the final push. Hope you enjoy this map to see where all the coaches have been. Updated Baseball Stats Viz

I have made a few updates to my "National League Stats" dashboard. First I have added to the data that it uses. I now have data for the American League also. You can switch between the two league by using the quick filter on the side. I also added the MLB logo that when click will take you to the source of my data. A few other minor things were updated. The title now will change based on the league the is selected and the cross tab now only populates when a team or year is selected.

National League Stats

This is a pretty basic dashboard that I made a while back. This shows the stats for the National League from 2006 to 2013. By using this you can select between a number of different stats and see how the teams compared over the years. You can select a year or team to drill down the see the stats in a cross tab on the bottom. You can also click the URL action in the tooltip to take you to the teams Wikipedia page.

My First Few Tableau Vizzes

After getting back from TCC14, I was looking through many different data blogs and got to thinking why don't I start my own? Here is a couple of my first dashboards that I have made and published to Tableau Public. The first one is a comparison of NFL and NCAA stadium sizes. The idea for this came from one of my coworkers saying that NFL stadiums are larger than NCAA stadiums. If you are curious about which is larger find out for yourself by using my dashboard below.
